Category Browsing.
We currently offer two ways of browsing the categories on Alibie.com. The most commen and basic way is to use the category tree to the left of the screen.
This list shows a complete list of all main categories as default along with a the number of items listed in each category. The category count can be used to identify if there are any active listings in the category/ sub-category without the need to follow the category link.
When you click on any of the main categories then all sub-categories will be displayed under the main category and you will be taken to the browse auction page which will display all the items in the main category that you have chosen. To make the search even more define you may click on any of the sub-categories that are listed in each main category. The browse auction page will then reload with only the items for the chosen sub-category. Some sub-categories also include 3rd leval sub-categories. These can be clicked on in the same manner as the 2nd level sub-categories.
To return up one level simply click on the category above or on a new main category to navigate to a new category. In this way you can navigate up and down the category structure.
