If you are new to Alibie Auctions then by registering for a free Alibie buyers account you will gain access to our members area, be able to bid and buy from the Alibie website and gain full access to our online forum including the ability to add new posts there and take part in any of the free DVD's or Book give a way's that we run there. By registering for a new account you will also be eligible to receive or newsletters with new offers and promotions that we offer our members.

Before you register with any site, make sure that your details are safe. Alibie Action uses a Godaddy Certificate to secure our site with and protect your personal information. Before entering any details make sure that your browser has locked. A Godaddy certificate comes with a 2048 bit root strength and up to 256 bit encryption strength to secure details entered on the site.

Standard Buyer Account,

Alibie buyers account is the basic account that is needed to be able to bid or buy on Alibie Auctions, from Alibie Books or from any of the 3rd. party sellers that are using the website. With a buyers account you will have full access to our member's area and all the facilities that are located there.

You will also have full access to our forum and the ability to add new posts there. Buyer Account holders are also eligible to take part in the free give away competitions that are often running there.

Setting up a buyer account is instant and all that is required is a valid e-mail address that you have access to, as the verification e-mail will be sent to this address. Free e-mail addresses such as hotmail, msn, gmail are not accepted for verification. If you have no other e-mail address then please contact support for an alternative verification form and account setup.

Holding and maintaining an Alibie buyers account is free with no monthly fees or signup fees.

Standard Seller Account,

Standard Alibie Seller Account is the default account that all sellers receive when they sign up for a sellers account. To sign up for the basic seller account you will need to login and then click on get the “Get verified” link in the members area or the "Sell" link in the header menu on any page. There is a onetime seller verification fee of £1.00 that all sellers must complete to verify their identity before selling on Alibie Auctions. The seller verification fee can be paid using Paypal (this is an instant way to get verified) or google checkout. If you do not have a Paypal or a Google checkout account then you will need to contact support to be able to get verified, verification can then take up to 7 days and a deposit will be need to our back account.

As a standard seller you will have full access to all our buyer and seller features as well as our forum. All listings are free on Alibie, there are no fees involved for the standard listing format. As a standard seller you will be charged a final value fee (no more than 2%, see site fees for more details) if your item is sold and you will be charged if you choose to use any of the paid features available on the site.

**Alibie auctions may at anytime temporarily or permanently suspend any account at its sole discretion if the account is believed to be involved in any activities that are illegal, fraudental or in any other way are against the policies governed by Alibie Auctions for the maintaining the security of the site.

Alibie Prime Seller Account,

Alibie Prime Seller accounts are available to all registered sellers. You can upgrade or down grade at any given time from the member's area. Minimum billing period is 30 days and is charged in advance. You will receive Prime seller status after Alibie has verified that all data associated with your account is correct and that your account is in good standing. Accounts that have more than £5.oo in negative balance will not be accepted before the negative balance is cleared. Customers with less than £5.oo negative balance will have the accounts cleared. Our check of the seller account is normally done instantly, but may take up to 24 hours to complete. Please verify that your account is in good standing before you apply for the Prime Seller account.

As a Prime Seller account holder you will have access to our entire range of selling feature that a Standard Seller account holder has. In addition to this you will have access to use the entire range of advanced listing feature, such as "Bold" and "High lighted" as well as have access to use any of our available Alibie Store fronts without any further costs. In addition there are no final value fees on any items sold via the Auction site or via the Alibie Store front.

With a Prime Seller Account you will not receive any further charges from Alibie for the usage of our site than the monthly subscription fee of £9.99 that is charged on the first of every month to all subscribers. If you are making payment by any other form than Paypal or Google Checkout then please make sure that payment has cleared to our account before the 1 st of every month to avoid any extra selling fees being added.
